Every year, on the 27th of January, we come together to celebrate a special milestone – HAY-HAY’s birthday. It’s not just a day to mark the passage of time, but to reflect on our growth, our achievements, and the incredible journey we’ve had. This year, as we turn 8, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude to you, our customers, and the community that has supported us from the very beginning.
It all started over eight years ago with a vision. Our founder, the visionary behind HAY-HAY, Lucine Ayanian began as a humble platform to showcase local and ethnic fashion has grown into something far greater. Over the years, HAY-HAY has evolved into a global platform for emerging designers, featuring creatives from all over the world.
In the past year, we have taken a bold step forward, embracing cultural diversity through fashion. Our platform now proudly features not only Armenian designers but also global brands, creating a space where stories and styles intersect. Fashion, with its universal appeal, has become a bridge that connects us all, transcending borders and telling stories that resonate on a deeply human level.
Today, HAY-HAY is home to over 50 brands, offering everything from clothes and accessories to home decor. Each piece tells a story of craftsmanship, culture, and creativity. We’ve always been more than just a fashion platform – we’ve been a place for storytelling. Through interviews, features, and collaborations, we’ve sought to uncover the culture behind the clothes, highlighting the passion and dedication of the designers who bring them to life.
Our journey has been one of growth and transformation. What started as a small idea has blossomed into a sustainable entity, with a dedicated team members from all corners of the globe – from Zurich and Barcelona to Yerevan. We’ve built a community of creators, artists, and innovators, all united by the shared values of creativity, authenticity, and diversity. Our collaborations with content creators and artists have allowed us to expand our reach and continue to inspire others to embrace the beauty of cultural exchange.
As we look back on the past eight years, we are filled with gratitude. We are thankful to our customers, to the HAY-HAY family, and to everyone who has been a part of our journey.
