Every year around this time, the world gets ready for the same thing: endless discounts, pressure to buy quickly, and the feeling that more is always better. But at HAY-HAY, this simply doesn’t feel right - and it doesn’t match who we are.

The designers we work with create slowly and with care. Their pieces are made with real craftsmanship, cultural stories, and hours of work. Cutting their prices for one loud shopping day would take away the meaning behind what they do. These are not mass-produced items. They’re not made for rush buying. They’re made to last.
Black Friday usually pushes people to buy things they don’t really need, and it becomes another moment of waste. Small, independent brands cannot and should not compete with huge companies that overproduce and can afford big discounts. Their true value is in the quality and the story - not in how low the price can go.
At HAY-HAY, we prefer fair, honest pricing all year. We want people to choose pieces because they love them, not because a timer is running out. Slow fashion is about intention, not urgency.
So while everyone is racing for the biggest sale, we choose to step back. We believe the best purchases are the ones made thoughtfully - not in a rush, not in panic, but with real appreciation for the work behind them.
